If any of you live near Virginia here is your chance to confront Harris
Miller. Notice that the ITAA is meeting with high level members of the INS
and DOL. Isn't that kind of lobbying illegal - or at least ethically
dubious? Shouldn't we have a right to find out how much money will be passed
under the table?

Make no mistake about what is occurring here. The ITAA is starting their
campaign to extend the H-1B limits indefinitely. Currently the 195,000 quota
will go down to 65,000 in 2004. The ITAA has already stated that they will
lobby in 2003 to keep the quota. It looks like they are getting a head
start.

To Whom It May Concern:

The American Engineering Association (AEA) is trying to organize a
demonstration on the 10th of October. Protestors (against the H1-B visa
programs) are needed or the demonstration cannot be held. Is there a way
to spread the message, and find out who are in Northern Virginia and
willing to participate? Those who decide to be there may e-mail the AEA
organizer at
jgmcd45@netscape.net

The protest is to be against ITAA. ITAA has been undertaking false
"hi tech labor shortage survey" and lobbying the Congress to raise the
cap on the issuance of the H1-B visas. ITAA is going to hold a meeting
(see below) on the 10th of October and the Federal Government officials
are invited to attend that meeting.
